SPORTING EQUIPMENT

I used CorrosionX on my rifles and shotguns. It cleaned rust and powder residue and also lubricated them. I used it on heavy equipment with electronic PC Boards that had corrosion problems. CorrosionX not only cleaned the PC boards, but also helped prevent further corrosion. I’d recommend CorrosionX for any corrosion problems you have.

Anyone who does offshore or shoreline fishing in Hawaii knows the importance of protecting their equipment against corrosion caused by exposure to salt water and salt air. Like any concerned fisherman, I try to take care of my reels by using lubricants, which claim to stop corrosion, lubricate and displace moisture. Despite my preventative measures, I noticed that one of my reels (a Daiwa AG7000X) was a bit sticky and it took more effort to turn the spool. Although I didn’t believe CorrosionX would be able to perform miraculous feats on my reel, I decided to give it a try. I was wrong, CorrosionX did the job. Now my reel operates almost like new! Hereafter, I will be using this product on all of my fishing equipment. Since CorrosionX works so well with salt water, I am convinced that it would do wonders with fresh water.

When I went fishing at Lake Waxahachie, I reeled my line in after a little while (bottom fishing). When I pulled it in, on the hook was this old fly reel. It was really rusty. After cleaning the reel, I sprayed CorrosionX on heavy and let it soak for 5-10 minutes. I turned the crank and it worked. I recommend it very highly; I wish I could get another bottle.

I highly recommend this product. It made my reels run smoother than ever. I found the hammer mechanism off an old Flintlock Rifle that had been buried under a house for over 100 years. I squirted some CorrosionX on it and after letting it soak for 5 minutes, I scrubbed it with a toothbrush. I did this one more time and the hammer and gears moved freely. If it can break loose one-hundred-year-old rust it can loosen anything.

I used CorrosionX on several 35-year old reels that had not been used in 10 years. I tore the reels down, cleaned and oiled them with CorrosionX. Ford Bronco 1973 - CorrosionX was used on battery cable connections, spot corrosion between radiator and body, door hinges, locks, window mechanism and rear leaf springs. Bass Boat - used on steering cables, batteries, cable connections and electrical connectors all over the boat and cabinet door hinges. This product works very good for all these uses.

I used CorrosionX in my home, on everything from vehicles to door hinges. I would highly recommend this product to other NAFC members. I also used it on an old fly reel that had rusted and had dirt and grime in it. I cleaned it with CorrosionX and the reel now operates perfectly. This is a very good product.

CorrosionX works…. We used it on several rust spots, which involved chrome. Even though we had to work some spots over with a wire brush, CorrosionX took all the rust spots off my guns and pick up. Used it on spinning reels and rods, boat trailer, windshield wipers, tailgate hinges, car door latches and a rusty BB gun. All worked better in five minutes. Nose wheel swivel on boat trailer has always been a problem but works great now. Fully-rusted padlock on trailer hitch loosened up in one minute and works great. I intend to contact the company and get more.

ELECTRICAL

CorrosionX is all the label says it is, plus a whole lot more. I was really impressed with the way it cleaned the green from my electrical fuse panel and most of all the way it kept it from turning green again. It is also great in protecting the inside of my trolling motor. CorrosionX is a product that has too many uses to list. I highly recommend this product and will continue to use it instead of WD-40.

CorrosionX seems to be an excellent product for any electrical application. Spray it on plug wires in your boat motor or davits. It makes your lines run smoother as a lubricant and for salt-water fishermen it will not allow any salt build up on your equipment.

I used the product on my inboard/outboard engine and lower unit. I sprayed it on some corrosion at the water intake and in the connections and electrical wiring/batter on contact. HOUSEHOLD

Here are some interesting findings; The product does an outstanding job protecting tools in a high chemical environment. Almost everyone in Arizona has a pool and a common problem is that the gases emitted by both chlorine and muriatic acid will typically rust any metal in close proximity. CorrosionX kept metal products in my shed from rusting. I tested a screwdriver by putting the product on half the shaft, leaving the other half unprotected. Within 3 days, the unprotected side had severe rust, while the coated side was fine. I also used it on my table saw’s electric motor. The brushes on the motor were sparking quite a bit and the motor was not performing to maximum. I soaked it with CorrosionX and the dirt and dust was also broken up. It made an improvement on how it ran. I’d recommend the product for NAFC’s full endorsement.

This protectant/lubricant is by far the best stuff I have ever used. I am an electrician, involved with various power and hand tools. My drills and pliers work better than new, now that I have CorrosionX. As for my fishing gear, it’s hard to fathom using anything else ever again. Reels cast further, are more silent and easier to use. My steering cable, which once game me trouble monthly, now is as smooth as the day I purchased the boat. This is outstanding! CorrosionX should be in every household. It is an exceptional product, especially for use on fishing reels, more so for those of us who go salt-water fishing. It’s not only a good lubricant, but it protects against moisture. I have also used this product on my lawn mower, water faucets (outdoors), bicycle chains and sprockets, rusty pipe wrench, outboard motors, clearance lights on my boat trailer and battery cable posts on my vehicle. I highly recommend CorrosionX based on the exceptional performance/results achieved on equipment on my cattle farm. I used it on my tractor and 4-wheel-drive, including steering and gear links as well as battery posts and cables. I also used it on my riding lawn mower. This product essentially eliminated corrosion and acid build-up on batteries and cables and is a super good lubricant. I found it to be "the answer" to corrosion/oxidation problems. Especially on fishing reels and salt-water equipment! I also used it on batteries, links and cables and the trolling motor on my bass boat. I used CorrosionX on a pair of old, rusty pliers. I thought they would never come loose, but when I sprayed them with CorrosionX, they were locked no more. Another experience with CorrosionX, was when I had to change my boat ball. The nut was corroded and stuck to the bolt. I doused it with WD-40 and it would not budge. But one shot of CorrosionX and the nut just slipped off. I strongly recommend this product to everyone. It has many uses and should be in every boater’s and fisherman’s back pocket.
